Requesting help locating a FFL with assault weapons permit

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a ffl with an Assault weapons permit in the the bay area, modesto area, or sacramento area; I'm located at Travis AFB so pretty much anything within a hour and half drive or so would be fine. I found a deal on a Kel Tec Sub 2000 for msrp and would like to get it shipped into the state I have the compliance parts required.

Wild Bill's in Sac but I don't know if they will do this for you. I would expect transfer fees to be high on a transfer like this.

Why not get an out of state FFL to install the parts? That would save you a lot of money most likely.

I second using the out of state dealer to be made compliant and having it shipped in from there to any FFL for the transfer. Heck a lot of AW dealers might not even do what you are asking.

Also SOT has nothing to do with any of this.

thanks everyone for the suggestions, advice and PM's. I informed my cousin about the awesome deal in the next county over and they are going to purchase it instead; at least I get to play with it next time i'm on leave and attempt to get them to gift it to me for Veterans day.

Also for all people looking for Kel-Tec firearms look in florida as most firearms stores I spoke to over the phone have or will have KSG and sub 2000 in stock within 2 weeks at most. I guess Kel-Tec attempting to keep the home market happy first before filling out of state orders.

You obviously do not know what "two weeks" means in the firearm industry,

nope, just in the air force which is usually equal to a month to a quarter. national armory in pompano beach actually had (when I called) a KSG for sale for at a realistic price point.
