Question RE: Henry Mare's Leg Rifle

Is this rifle legal for sale in CA? I am wondering because the overall length is only 25" but I do not know if that applies to lever actions as well. Thank you in advance for any input/ info.

Illegal, as I read the flow chart. - barrel is only 12 inches. Must be 16.

      Wrong. It is a pistol.

I sell them. I put a single shot plastic coat hanger down the tube so it cannot hold anymore than 1 shot and it is automatically a single shot exempt pistol. Done.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.

it is a handgun, as others have said. You do need to have a single-shot conversion done. Once you have purchased it, it is completely legal to reverse the single-shot conversion.

I would be glad to forward your info to this customer as he might be interested in still getting it. Thanks Again.
