Quick question on my recent purchase

I just bought a CZ 75B that has a 16 round magazine included off gunbroker. I know he can't ship the mag here but I wasn't aware that he can't ship the CZ to CA because the serial number links it to being hi-cap. Is this true? I know the basic laws but this one I need to know for sure.

Yes, it is true.

The handgun has to match exactly whats listed on the Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale.

The listing for the CZ-75B also lists SKU# 01102, which is the listing for the CZ-75B that comes with 10 round magazines.

If the CZ-75B you bought does not have the same SKU#, then it can not be transferred to you.

The problem is that the firearm does not have the SKU number, so it is hard to tell unless box is included. Also, not all of the listings include the SKU number.

All the information does, in theory, need to match. There are some firearms listed which have some issues, such as the Sig P229 ESE, which lists the high capacity magazine version.

Ok thank you for verifying this for me. It's not a huge deal since I'm moving back to Michigan next month so I can have him ship it to a FFL there. I was just looking forward to shooting it before I left. Thanks again!
