    Permit to work on AR's

I am a licensed FFL 01 gunsmith and I was wondering if I needed a permit to work on , or if customers bring in parts to assemble , AR rifles. I can't find a permit application on DOJ website .
    Any direction will help.

    Thanks,
    Chris

As long as they are not RAWs or you or the customer doesn't create an unregistered AW, MG or SBR configuration, no permit is needed.
