    FFL won't respond, been over a month =(

    Hey all,

    I purchased a firearm online and had it shipped to an FFL in my area (won't name him for now, not into being punitive about this). The gun arrived over a month ago, and I "submitted" my paperwork a month ago as well. However, the FFL has still not submitted my information, citing computer problems, medical problems, etc., and has not been returning my calls or emails.

    I know I may be being impatient, but still, 10 days is bad enough, 40 + 10 (as of today), is terrible.

    What can I do?

    So you have called him, he has not called you back.

    You have not visited him other to submit your paperwork.

    Did you pay him his fees yet?

      Tell us the name. Perhaps he is member here, perhaps he is a known thief, perhaps someone knows him personally and can attest to his medical problems or even refer him to his unhappy customer.

        The fees were to be paid when I actually picked up the rifle (agreed upon that when we met to physically do the paperwork).

        I PM'd the FFL to you Josh. Once again, I don't want to call him out publicly, just wondering what I should do in this situation. He does have a presence on the forums, and a decent rep from what I've seen, but no reports of thievery or any of that. He seemed like a decent dude, but I need him to do his job, or to get someone else who can.
