Mine took about 3 weeks, Sent 5/30/2012 recieved 6/19/2012

I mailed my renewal on 7/5. I have not received anything yet and my current COE will expire on 8/31. Same story as last year. When I called them then they said the process them by expiration date. I did receive it before 8/31 last year. I'm hoping for a similar result this year.

Thank you. I'm sending mine in today. I just received my FFL license in the mail Friday, hopefully the COE won't take too long.

I sent in my paperwork in March (around the 17th IIRC) and I got my COE a week later. Needless to say, I was very surprised.

Was yours a renewal or a new app? I'm hoping that they process the new ones a little faster, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.

I mailed 7/5 for new ones and received back 7/26.

My new app was mailed to DOJ 5/14/12, COE received 6/21/12

Is yours a new FFL? How long after the interview before you received the license?

I just had my (new FFL) meeting with the investigator on Monday 8/13. Couldn't have been more positive/ helpful. It took ~2.5 months after mailng the app to the ATF.

I just need the FFL to submit everything to CA DOJ.

Anyone know how long after sending everything to the CA DOJ before making it on the list... to be considered a legit dealer in CA?

VCE: Yes mine is a new FFL. Just received my license last Friday. It took exactly 2 weeks from my interview to receive it in the mail.

OK, I'm under-informed. I'm looking around trying to find out what 'COE' stands for. Just sent in my 03 renewal form, thinking maybe this COE thing sounds pretty good. Lots of good info here on what it does or doesn't do, but everybody but me knows what COE stands for! Maybe I should visit this sight more often.
