I have a few questions if anyone could help. If i wanted to work in a firearm store what would i just need a FFL03? or would i also need some other kind of license? Also i im planning to move out of state to OR but currently live in CA. Should i start my paper work now while in CA? or should i wait until i move?

You don't need an FFL of any kind to work at somebody else's gun shop. In California some gun shop owners will require you to get a Certificate of Eligibility from CalDOJ before you can work in their shop.
A Type 03 FFL is for licensed collectors. Type 03 FFLs are not allowed to operate a firearms business under their FFL.__________________
