    4473 for 03/FFL

Are 03/FFL's even allowed to use these in cash and carry sales? I know we don't have to, and the only requirement is to fill it out in our bound book. Just like the idea of having someone verify they aren't a drug user, or felon and whatnot. For my own protection. Any regulations AGAINST non-01/FFL's using these? Now that I think of it can just anyone use these forms on cash and carry sales as a type of receipt? And just for clarification I know you cannot "run a business" I'm just disposing of some of my collection. Thanks.

If you're that worried, go to an 01 for a ppt.

The 4473 is for use by firearms dealers. I doubt that there is a law which says that you can't ask someone to fill it out, but if they have a C&R FFL all of those questions would have already been answered.

For C&R handguns, the transfer still has to be done by a firearms dealer in CA.
