NV person dies. Wills gun to CA person who already owns guns. Gun is CA legal. Does it have to go FFL to FFL?

Since no one has responded to your question, I will provide what I think is correct. Ask your FFL to be sure.
If the NV person who has passed and leaves it to you, if you are an immediate family member with a FSC then you do not need to go thru a FFL. Firearm is legal, it needs to be reported within 30 days of taking possession to DOJ.
If the NV person is not a family member then it needs to go thru a FFL.
