Can anyone recommend a decent USB Drivers License Slide Scanner to scan and populate the DROS Entry form?

Don't bother. The new Driver Licenses do not have mag stripes and the DOJ is working on a patch to allow the use of 2D barcode scanners. Hopefully this will come soon and they will will provide specifications for compatible scanners when it happens. This was in a dealer bulletin a short time ago. If you absolutely want to scan mag stripes, I have one lying around you can have for free.
