    ATF inspection

Anyone worked with Diann Freitas? Please post or PM me with anything that may be important to know in preparation for an upcoming inspection.

She was the one who came for my initial inspection. She was pretty chill and seemed to be interested in educating me about the requirements of being an FFL, rather than raking me over the coals.

It was my first inspection, and she made it clear that she understood that I wouldn't know everything. What can I say, she was pretty cool... for a fed.

I wish I could give you some kind of specifics, but in all honesty the ATF and DOJ taught me about 1/5 of the stuff I needed to know to be an affective, responsible FFL. Crazy thing? I learned the rest of it here. Go figure.

Several of us who have been inspected over the last few months have posted about it on FFL Only. While we're not in CA, the federal inspection process should be pretty uniform nationwide.
