Ruger SR22 Pistol Crimson Trace & CA DOJ Roster Question

Ordering a new Ruger SR22 pistol prepackaged with Crimson Trace laser (appears to be the rail master) from out of state. Does that laser attached to the rail change it's status on DOJ roster? or since SR22 pistol black is listed am I good to go? You cant be too sure in CA.

DOJ is picky enough to care what color the gun is. If it's tan and only the black and stainless are on the list, the tan is "off roster" according the the letter of the law. Some dealers have a more liberal interpretation in regards to the spirit of the law. The opinion whose matters most is the FFL you're planning on having it sent to. Worst comes to worse just remove it.

If it is packaged with items, then it does not affect the firearm, but if it is physically on the firearm, then it would.
