Sig P365 Caliber Conversion For San Mateo Sherriff's CCW?

Hi, the San Mateo Sheriff's Office requires the DROS to match the serial number and caliber of the gun going on a CCW, so my question is this...

I purchased a new in the box Sig p365 CA Version in 9mm earlier this year, and also got the Sig P365 380ACP conversion kit seeing the P365-380 isn't on the roster, so I'd like to Re-DROS the gun to myself as a 380ACP for use on my next permit renewal next year as a 380ACP?

Is this possible via the any FFL, or the original FFL who sold it to me, or via a Pawn Shop?

Ideally I'd like to qualify with it in both calibers as the 380 conversion is just a hedge against future hand arthritis issues in my old age, is that possible somehow?

The only way it could be done, and I'm not sure if it could be done as "multiple caliber", I've never done that with a handgun for someone who isn't roster exempt is through a pawn return.

The minute you told the pawn shop what you were doing, you invited a can of fud worms. All you had to do was walk in, fill out paper work, and walk out. Then come back to begin DROS to re-aquire your firearm.
The more questions you ask, the worst it gets.
There are many other threads on this topic throughout CGN, and many have successfully completed pawn return.
