You should talk to the FFL first, to make sure that the FFL will do the transfer and what it will cost.Kemasa.

This^. If it's a new gun chances are the FFL might match the price or come close enough to it to make it worth your while. FFL transfers can be pricey and will add roughly 10% to your purchase price as a rule-of-thumb after fees, and tax.Comment

Let your fingers do the walking regard this and what a FFL wants for the same gun. A manufacturers number is like gold when comparing prices.what it will cost.
