Customer says Ruger LCR .357 is titanium.

I didn't close my door at 2 PM as I pay bills. In walks two guys wanting to buy ammo. They asked how much for the .357 ammo and I said $24. DB customer says, "$24! Holy crap. That is expensive. For 50 rounds?" I don't reply as I already know this guy is a squirrel.

He is looking at guns and I he wants to see the Ruger LCR in .357. He says man is that light. Must be made out of titanium. I say, "No, I am pretty sure it is aluminum." He responds, "No it must be titanium." I say, "Not it is aluminum." He says, "Not it is titanium." I reply, "You must be right because all I do is sell them, that is all."

Turns out we are both wrong. It is blackened stainless steel. The .38 LCR is aluminum.

You might want to look into that more. The Ruger website says that the "finish" is blackened stainless steel, not the material. Remember, the 10/22 stainless is a stainless barrel with an aluminum painted receiver.
    Kemasa.

Either way, I know it wasn't titanium.

Did he buy anything, if not, would it have elevated his status above that of a common DB customer?

His buddy bought a box of ammo. Money does not erase one's DBness.

I had the exact same thought as soon as I read this. There is no argument that a liberal application of sarcasm can't make more entertaining!
