Can I use my ID with Federal Limits Apply to do a PPT as seller? I don't have valid passport ( expired ) and I cant find my birth certificate.

Yes, but you'll have problems if the buyer doesn't pass bg or it goes past 30 days and you won't get the firearm back.

Thank you. I asked because I was denied and told the ATF would knock on my door and the store will get fine if the store gets audited. I just laughed, giave the guy money back and left.

I was making people use valid ID and FLA is not valid for firearms transactions. I have also heard some dealers do not care. I might be headed more to the do not care group.

I guess I assumed it was only for the buy direction of the transaction based on how this was written:

That's why we skip it for the seller unless/until the firearm has to go back to them.

I agree! The seller isn't going through a background check, the buyer is. The state wants proof of citizenship or legal entry for background on the buyer. If the gun has to go back to the buyer, proof of legality in the country is needed.
