    Blocking a 15rd Mag to 10rd

I'm a a bit of a pickle right now since the gun I'm about to DROS on Sunday only has 15rounder available on the market. I'm talking about a 10 round .22lr magazine for the Erma/Iver Johnson M1 Carbine. They do have 10 rounders at one point but nobody sells them. I want to know if a FFL can buy the 15 rounders for me and modify them to 10 rounds.

    Thanks!

If the CA FFL has a Large Capacity Magazine permit (most do), then yes he can.

If the magazine is shipped/given/sold to you in parts, then you can do it yourself.
