    Question about ppt

I recently purchased a handgun at turners 2 weeks ago. Can I do a ppt with a private party right now or do I still have to wait the 30 days? Can I do 2 handgun ppt at the same time? Thanks for the help

PPT ignores the 1 in 30, but I think adding one onto an existing DROS costs extra, or just requires an entirely extra DROS.

I'm sure someone better informed can correct me on this.

Every handgun requires a unique DROS. There are no restrictions on how many you can do and the roster does not apply. When done at the same time only the first DROS is $25, each additional is $19.

Long gun PPT's can be combined on one DROS, but not on a handgun DROS.

Transfer fee is $10 per gun allowed.

Thanks for all the answers. So I believe I can do a PPT for 2-? handguns on the same day but just have to do separate DROS.

Since there's no 1 in 30, and from what Eddy's Shooting Sports said, here's what you'll pay.

25+10 and 19+10 = 64 dollars to transfer 2 pistols at the same time. As opposed to the full 70 it would have been otherwise.

Don't forget to have some locks for the guns with a receipt under 30 days.

The dealer will also have to fax a multiple handgun sale form to BATFE and their local LEA when the guns are delivered. It's no big deal. I'm guessing they probably circular file them anyway.
