You need an original signed copy of FFL, nothing more (except money!)
They need the firearm. Send it UPS or FedEx and send them the tracking number.
As I learned, be sure it is on The List and CAN be shipped. It is difficult to keep up with our intelligent, thoughtful and concerned legislators, who have nothing except YOUR best interests at heart. [where's the "sarcasm" font?]

There is no requirement that a FFL give a copy of their FFL to non-licensees and the BATF actually tells FFLs to not give it to non-licensees.

You should check the status of the FFL on the BATF ezcheck web site to ensure that the FFL is valid and that the addresses are correct (if you have a copy of the FFL or what they have given you).

For long guns, shipping ground can be cheaper. If it is small enough and a long gun, you can ship it USPS. There are flat rate and regional flat rate boxes.
