    DROS resubmision. Buyer present?

We have a buyer that drove over 100 miles to us to do his DROS. Of course his DROS was rejected due to a clerical error at the DMV regarding his DL. This is now resolved. The question is whether he has to be present for us to resubmit the DROS. We have already verified his identity and have all appropriate documentation. Thoughts?

Ok, never mind. DOJ said that the buyer must come back unless they can reactivate the existing DROS. They said this may be possible in this situation.

I would think that since he was rejected, he would need to fill out a new 4473 and sign it.

Yes technically he has to come back. Technically.
