HSC Card Copy vs. HSC test

I'm sure I can guess what most of you will answer on this question, but I'm posting it anyway at the request of my boss.

We have a handful of doc packets where a previous employee forgot to get a copy of the HSC Card from the handgun purchaser. Of course, the number was entered into the DROS.

In most all cases, the HSC Card was bought from us, so of course we have the test as well as the "receipt" portion of the card which is part of the card booklet.

    We discovered this while auditing.....

Would you guys feel comfortable with putting a doc package to bed with copies of the receipt and test?

    Thanks

Not much choice unless you can get the people to come back it. You are supposed to keep a copy of it, which you don't have. You just have to hope that there is not an issue with it.

I would not feel comfortable with that, but I might have to settle with doing it in that case.
