Question concerning the Validitiy of an HSC

My Girlfriend had her last name legally changed a ways back and I was curious if the HSC that she currently holds in her old name is still valid or does she need to obtain a new HSC in her new name ?

Theoretically she should also have copies lying around some where documenting the legal name change.

This is not a particularly unusual scenario for women. Banks, Social Security, DMV, etc etc all readily accept a copy of the legal change as a means of updating records.

In theory you could even return to the issuer of the HSC and get a replacement with her new name - there is probably a 5 buck fee involved too.

It would be $15. However, now that I think about it, I wonder if I am limited in charging $15 only for replacements. It makes no sense that those forms cost me $15 and then I can't make any money on them. Then I run out and can't sell guns. I need to look this up.
