    Cancelling a DROS?......

    Howdy,

    Yeah it's me again.

We have a customer that decided he doesn't want the CMMG 7.62 Lower that we bought - instead he wants an Armalite.

In fact, the CMMG is already built and everything, and DROS'd to this guy.

We have a new buyer for the rifle and he wants us to start the DROS ASAP.

So, can the DROS be cancelled? If so, how long until we can start the DROS for the new buyer?

And lastly, is this common or something that is going to raise flags with DOJ?

I should mention that the waiting period is over - so wanted to know if it can be cancelled since he never took possession, or does it now need to be a PTP transfer.

    Thanks!

BTW, I'm aware that the serial number for the long gun is not part of the DROS, but since the Armalite lower hasn't even been ordered yet (on backorder) we're thinking that we can't pair the original buyers DROS with this late order on the Armalite since it would be totally obvious that the DROS was done in advance.

Would love to save the guy $35 bucks and ourselves some trouble, but want to be by the book.

    Regards,
