FFL Specific Question RE: LEO PPT...

I created a thread in the LEO section and then realized this might be the more appropriate section, so sorry for the dual post.

...And the reason I am posting here is the dealer was kinda unclear when I called and asked.

I will be purchasing a Ultra Raptor II for Off-Duty carry from a local guy. I'm LEO and was going to get a letter from my dept, which I've done numerous times, however whats significant about this time is this a PPT as opposed to buying from the Dealer directly.

What, if anything, needs to be on the letter that's different from your "standard" 10-day waiver letter?

The Waiting Period Exemption menu still appears on the handgun PPT screen and PEACE OFFICE type is there. So, with the letter you are still GTG. As for the letter itself, as long as it doen't say new handgun, I'd guess you're OK.
