    Mag lock on Saiga 12

CA FFL question-does the mag lock need to be installed before being sent to CA or can we do it after receiving/transfer? Thanks in advance

without lock i'm pretty sure it's an assault weapon... which means the FFL would have to have the correct permit to receive assault weapons.

Without said permit, the gun needs to be in a non-AW configuration to be received.
