    Question for FFL, Glock Gen4

    Thanks for your time guys!!!

I have a friend that lives out of state (TX) that is will to sell me his G23 Gen 4.

Can i have it shipped (w/o mags) to an FFL and go through the paperwork to take home?

    Any advice will help.

PS: Im not looking to do the single shot exempt or anything, the price is right so i thought I'd try.

    Thanks again!!!

    Chris.

No, single shot exemption is your only choice unless he's a CA resident. Off roster are Face-to-face only.

Ok, now if he was to bring it to Cali, would that work? Or would we be breaking all kinds of laws?

Its not really worth it if it's going to be that big of a hassle.

If he moved to California, it would be okay. Your friend must be a CA resident to transfer that pistol to you.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

It sounds like it, but not really. If you're getting a GREAT deal on it then just transfer it to a shop near you that offers the single shot conversions.

That's true as far as the underground regulation goes...

That, or just buy one from a LGS who does SSE.

he can ship it to you through Tablerock arms and they will SSE it for a fee. or if you have an out of state, child, parent or grandparent, they can buy it and ship it to you as a gift.
