I am a type 1 FFL and am considering getting my Class 3. i have a business opportunity with several local police depts.
after speaking with ATF last week, they told me that CA DOJ has relatively stringent storage requirements for all Class 3 merchandise. I have not had the opportunity to call the DOJ yet, and my past experiences with them have been somewhat disheartening to say the least.
i have been dealing with some uninformed / underinformed people there and would like to get some first hand info on what they consider to be acceptable storage before i contact them.
