Received 03-FFL Today

I have been beating this one around for a while. Kind of getting the itch for older weapons as I picked up a really nice Sweedish Mauser and recently a correct grade M-1 Garand from the CMP.

With the dealer benefits at suppliers and the ability to purchase C&R out of state, what the heck.

Picked up some beneficial info here. Thanks to all who help the rest of us get smarter.

I have been told anyting from 3 weeks to 90 days.

Once I get a response, I will post it here so others can get a general idea how long a decision takes.

How much do they charge and do you have to renew it every year? Is there a difference between C&R and regular FFL?

My 03 FFL arrived in the mail today. Have burned multiple copies (unsigned) and will be getting evelopes ready to mail off the vendors with signature.

I have the usual suspects in mind, Midway, Brownells, Mid-South, J&G, Natchez etc, are there ones that I should make sure to include?

Also, is there any cover letter I should include and or address to a specific dept at these vendors?
