    Multipal long gun reporting

I was thinking of adding a couple saigas to the collection as they are so cheap right now, can I dros a 762x39 and a 545x39 together without them being reported to ATF, seeing as the 5.45 is less that .22 caliber?

    Thanks

Maybe I worded it wrong, I am not talking about registration but multiple purchases on the same dros in 5 days having to be reported to ATF for semi-auto mag fed centerfire guns. (Federal- Mexico boarder states)

I think it is for .22 caliber and up centerfire, but I don't know. 5.45 is less than .22 caliber.

You are confusing the CA law with the BATF letter telling FFLs to report multiple sale of certain types of semi-auto rifles. There is also the issue that the BATF is saying in the FAQ that a bullet button does not make it a non-detachable magazine, although previous letters said that it did.

The letter states that the caliber has to be greater than .22, so anything less would not be required to be reported.
