    MidwayUSA is on the ball!

By no means would I advocate as a dealer you get all of your supplies from Midway USA. They are not a true FFL wholesaler.

However, I am working on a .300 AAC Blackout build and am going to need some dies. Midway is the only place I can find that carries them. None of the "big names" do.

Well am still finding places I haven't sent my new FFL to and Midway is one of them. I would like to place the order today.

Without too much trouble, I find their Dealer Website and see they have an e-mail address and phone number. I e-mail them the information and then figure I will see how long it will take for someone to get to it. I am totally expecting it to be tomorrow since it is a Sunday morning.

I call and immediately get a real live person who answers the phone! She says the e-mail people are busy, but it will get done today in probably an hour or two. I told her that was awesome and thank you.

I get the e-mail about 7 minutes later stating that my FFL has been received and if I log back in, the dealer pricing should show up.

    Sure enough!!!

So dealers, if you don't have a Midway USA account, you really should get one.

I like Brownell's too, but I don't think they will get to it until tomorrow.

I have heard that Midway charges more for shipping and handling when a FFL discount is used. So, sometimes, it's cheaper to pay thier retail price instead of their FFL discount price. It just depends on the exact products in question.

Dealers can not use any Midway coupons, so its always good to check what coupons are available, and sign up a separate account as a non dealer to compare orders.

I haven't found that to be the case. What they do is raise the amount you have to spend to avoid the "special handling fee" for a "small" order.

For a dealer, you have to spend a min. of $40.00, or they charge you a $4.00 SHF. For non-dealers, I think the min. was $20.00.

The S/H was the same when I switched to the dealer pricing.
You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.

I don't know about midway but I did have that happen with an order from Graf's. I bought a Dillon Separator and Tumbler and retail + flat rate shipping was cheaper than dealer price + actual shipping costs. I think it ended up costing me $25 extra through the dealer site (If you order on the dealer site, they don't calculate shipping costs when you place your order, so you have no idea what shipping will be until after they finalize the order and charge your CC. They did say that they were working on fixing that but I dunno if they ever did.)

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

I still haven't gotten around to sending out my FFL to Midway. I will take this as a reminder to do so. Especially as xmas nears.

I ended up requesting Grafs remove my dealer status because I don't buy enough to justify the dealer rates. For smaller orders it's cheaper not to be a dealer..

You do have scanned copies of all of your documents right? If a dealer doesn't have scanned copies of all of their documents and isn't e-mailing them, that would seem to be a missed opportunity for saving a lot of time in your life.

I love e-mailing documents out immediately. FFL, CFD cover sheet, SOT, Large Capacity Magazine Permit, and retail sales permit.
