Who collects sales tax on DROS?

Knowing the state sales tax board, its not beyond belief that they would instruct an FFL to collect taxes on a dros if asked about it.

Really? I called them and they plainly stated that you may not collect sales tax on a dros fee.

BTW, the link should be to the BOE, not the DOJ website.

There are documents on the BOE website to not collect sales tax on the DROS fee, so if a BOE person were to say that you should, it could get them fired, which I suspect that they would not like, so I doubt that it would knowingly occur.

it looks like turners does this, looking back at my sales receipts, that could add up to hundreds of dollars throughout a persons lifetime.

This guy saved his receipts.
