I have an email inquiry to receive and transfer a used handgun that was purchased on Gunbroker for a customer local to me. The used handgun is on the roster but I am unsure if I need a Secondhand dealer license to perform the transaction. I know I would have to enter it in my bound book, then do a 4473 and DROS when they come to pick up the gun. Just didn't know if there was any other requirements when dealing with used guns. Please advise.

A secondhand dealer license is needed if you buy and sell used firearms, but in the above you are just doing the transfer. If you were to follow the procedures for a secondhand dealer, all transfers would take over 40 days since the firearm has to be reported (FDAS) and held for 30 days.Kemasa.
