Hey guys. This is my first post and I would like to say "hello" to all of you. I have been looking at this forum for a while now and received a lot of info. I am trying to obtain my FFL. I have learned a lot on the process from this site but I am running into problems getting my business license. I originally wanted to do this from home but my city will not allow it (Chino). So my question is this, If I were to rent a small office space and get my business that way, would DOJ or ATF have any issues with this. I am only going to be a small business and sell only to LEO's. I will not carry any inventory and only order handguns at the time the customer wants one. Any suggestions would be really appreciated because I really want to get into this and I think this idea is my last and only hope. Thanks again

If your city zoning ordinances don't mention any specific requirements for a business selling firearms you will be ok with the DOJ and ATF. Selling only to LEO is good just make sure it's going to cover your rent every month...

If you will be renting the office space then you will need permission from your landlord to operate a firearms business there.
Some cities only allow firearms businesses to operate in certain neighborhoods or certain distances from schools or parks. If your city is ok with the location then ATF and CalDOJ will be ok with it too.__________________
