I am looking for info on what is exactly different when reg'ing a lower as a pistol v.s. one that will be reg'd just as a rifle/carbine.
I am aware of a form 4473(?) that needs to be filled out. (Not sure if I got the form's number correct). If a lower that is marked Multi-Cal must be registered using this form still with the lower marked multical. I understand that doesn't mean anything in itself, but there are so many ludicris laws and contradictory ones on top that I have never done it before, I felt it wise to ask. If you get a lower that is engraved "pistol", it is necessary to use this form then also. Is there a flow chart on CG that I can reference that I did not run across?
