    Is google anti 2A

I keep trying to buy google ad-words advertising and they keep declining my ad because of the words guns and ammunition. Seeing as I'm a gun shop, I don't how else I would describe what I sell.

The responses seem to be automated and I have no idea how to actually talk to someone there on the phone.

    Any ideas?

Is this something CGF should look into?

I guess google will peddle porn, but not allow us to exercise our 2A rights.

    Sounds about right.

it would be a lot harder to become a one world government if it's citizens were armed to defend their rights.

Yeah. Guns, it seems, to companies like Google cannot equal sporting, hunting, or hobby, but must be a "weapon" of harm.

What's really bat **** crazy of them is that they allow the advertising of paintball guns and airsoft guns. Those are two communities of "hobbyists" that actively promote shooting one another. I personally feel that paintball and airsoft actually are a detriment to the legitimate shooting community because they promote shooting people as a sport, not as a last resort solution in a defensive situation. I made a decision long ago that you will never find an airsoft or a paintball gun in my shop.

Oh well, any idea how I can at least get the damn search engine to point people to my shop when they search "gun shop". It works on google maps, but for some reason, it doesn't work in the regular search...

            The plot thickens...

I looked at my adwords dashboard and I've been billed for two click throughs. I'm not sure what ad they clicked.....

Corporate america cannot endorse firearms, for many reasons that we can all think of.

Simple fact - Google, Facebook, Paypal, etc refuse business from those lawfully in the firearm industry.

List of things that are ok to advertise on Google and Facebook and ok to sell using paypal:

              Diet pills
              Get rich quick schemes
              Airsoft guns
              Herbal Viagra
              Anarchist Cookbooks

but firearms and ammunition? Bad. Alcohol and tobbaco are great, and noobdy misuses those products but firearms - clearly bad.

Yeap...........they're anti-gun. I found this out almost 2 years ago when all I sold was brass and bulk bullets. I even had the google shopping cart until they shut down my account and refunded orders I already shipped to customers. I filed a BBB complaint against them and eventually got my money back. They'd crap themselves now if they knew what I sold these days.

google is not anti gun they are pro business and getting screwed with by every person on the planet that will actually fight for something unlike gun rights activists makes for a costly business platform in legal fees alone.

they let you advertise lasers and scopes. You could always go that route.

Google is a private business that can serve who they wish. You have no 2nd Amendment right to sell goods on Google.

I sell guns just fine and do not use Google.

Google hates guns. It makes online gun sales difficult.

Which in my opinion helps us here in cali. Nothin worse than a customer that wants to transfer in a gun that you carry cause he got it for $10 less.

I know people who will spend a tank of gas to save $5.00. Not too smart, in opinion.

You could try using sporting goods and hunting gear as your description because firearms and ammunition are also classified as such. Problem is that Google actually has their techs review websites for content.
