    Retail software

What are guys using for retail/point of sale software if I might ask?

Considering a version of Quickbooks, but wondering what you all might be using or recommend?

    Thanks!

We switched to Cervelle Merchant Magic and we are really happy. Give me a call and I could tell you more. It is specifically designed for the firearm industry.

My concern is its compatability with QB accounting software. Our AR/AP person is working in QB now and i would like to keep it on the same page.

Ill give you a call to discuss! Thanks much.

Quickbooks Point of Sale. However, it is expensive now and I am still using 6.0 and I think they are on 10.0 right now. I am going to have to upgrade someday.

I was looking at http://www.hydraccm.com/ as I saw them at SHOT Show. I just don't know if I really want to go to web based and pay a monthly fee. It would certainly speed up my mail order.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.

          I use Quick Books POS.
kind of pricey, If you don't upgrade they won't help you and if you don't pay someone to help you set it up your QB accounting software will be all f'ed up anyway.
I am looking at switching as well but?????

Mike, Exactly... We dealt with QB at our last company, and it was a pain. But my lady is versed in it, so to ease the pain, we will most likely go that route, but heck, over 1K for each register, without the equipment, just for the software.

I got free help from a Quickbooks expert when I had problems with my version 9.0. The advice I was given was "upgrade to V10.0. I guess they are like Micro$oft if it doesn't work, upgrade! I too am ready for something else.

I'm running Quickbooks POS 10.0 pro and so far so good. I also run Coloseum Software AIMI boundbook software. They are supposed to be coming out with a version that integrates with QB POS. This will be great, because I am guessing it will eliminate most of the bound book data entry by drawing from the POS.

                We shall see...

Using QB POS and probably need to upgrade it. I like it so we'll probably stay with it for the forseeable future.

The POS from QB does seem to be the option we are going with, since our accounting will be the same.

But I will be using Chase for the merchant card side, since hardware is free, and QB wants almost a grand for just the hardware.

It sounds like you guys are a lot bigger and deeper into the game than us, but we're using QB online ($12.50 a month) and Merchant Warehouse for our CC transactions. Both work well for us.

If anyone decides to go with Merchant Warehouse, drop us a PM. If you say we referred you we'll get $100

                      Plus they just lowered rates:
