    LEO's Lesson on CA Roster

A recently retired LEO called to see if I would transfer a pistol he bought online.

    Me: "Sure, what is it?"
    Him: "Smith and Wesson 6906."
Me: "That one is not on the roster."
    Him: "The what?"

Apparently, LE trade-ins are showing up on the market and they're fairly inexpensive.

I really felt bad for him but can't do much to console him other than to
    explain PPTs and SSEs.

    CA is sad.

I'm not surprised. I think those who don't visit this forum, are for the most part, not up to date with gun laws as much as your typical CGN'er.

Just something he's never had to deal with before.

I think it just comes down to being another gun nut. PD or not, I know guys on both ends.

We could just get rid of this "safe" roster and be done with it
