    It has started...

I have started the process of getting my FFL. What a PITA! Talk about paperwork, but its rolling and hopefully by the beginning of next year I will have my 07 FFL.

I getting an 07 because I'm already being asked to build a few AR's.

I sure miss the 80's... They gave them out like candy at halloween... I understand you now must get approval from your city before BATF considers an application, how hard was that for you?

It was easy. I just talked to the Finance Dept, which handles the Business Licenses, who gave me the name and phone # at the Police Dept. Talked to the Detective who handles the special investigations and his assistant. He blessed it and so did the planning dept. Got my business license today. So far its the hardest part is getting the paperwork done. But I have not dealt with the DOJ yet...
