    Gussler's

For those that have dealt with Gussler's, does he contact you when he receives your firearm or is it your job to keep track of your package and contact him when it's delivered there? I only ask Because i called him once to request a transfer and he just asked for me to send him the email I received from gunbroker (didnt ask for my number or anything but I gave it anyway in the email).

I'm still very new to the gun world and have never dealt with a transfer before, sorry if this question seems stupid.

I've shipped a few guns there with the customer's name and phone number and I have heard of no problems.

I noticed that my firearm was delivered there yesterday(a day he had off) but still haven't gotten a call. I'm not really worried but just very excited and want to go in and take care of the paperwork asap and start the 10 day wait

Just take initiative and say "I saw that it was delivered, when can I get it?" That is not an unreasonable phone call.

An unreasonable phone call is someone calling me at 2AM wanting to know what Glocks I have in stock.

I would call him If I were you. I love Don, but he gets busy and most times doesn't call.

I have found that if the garage door is open, Gussler's is open.

                Or not entirely closed.

You are always better off contacting a transfer dealer to schedule your appointment. Personally, I don't track down customers whose guns come in unless they specifically ask. I have other things to do so tracking you down for your gun is not my priority. Especially since you already know it is there! Take the initiative!

I didn't know my XDM arrived at Gusslers 4 days before I called. With that said, CALL!!!

just call him and tell him it's there. if he is open go there and start your dros. they are very very cool over there so don't worry about it. the same thing happened to me but i was alittle more anxious than you. i knew it was there, called him while i was driving there to confirm, he looked for it, found it, said it sure is come over as i was pulling around the corner lol
