PFEC - Personel Firearms Eligibility Check Program

What is it, and when does it apply?

It has been my week for challanges with transfers and problems. Sometimes I wonder why I do it.

Your link doesn't work. You mean this:

You send in the form, notarized with fee, to find out if you are eligible to own firearms.

Interesting thing, if you already own some, and find out you are not eligible, you have to get rid of the ones you have.

If a customer comes in and wants to know if he can do a background check to see if he is prohibited, this is a cheaper way to do it without wasting your time. The guy sends all of the information in and they tell him whether he can own guns or not.

If he tries to buy guns and he is prohibited, then technically he is breaking the law, though no one cares. Mainly he is wasting your time as you are doing this paperwork and he is probably not going to want to pay you cancellation fee.

Another easy way is to just have him answer the 4473 questions. Most guys know those answers even if they want to pretend like they don't.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.
