Transferring Long Guns and Receivers between siblings.

Hello I'm new to Calguns and I have a question regarding the transfer of Long guns and Receivers such as AK and AR receivers amongst or in between family members. My question, is it legal to sell mentioned firearms above to say a brother or sister? or does it have to be from parents because i cannot find any clear information about this topic.
    Thank You

Up or down the direct family line (grand parent to child or grand children) is ok. Husband to wife is ok. Brother to sister, no.

Depends a tiny bit on exactly what you mean.

If by 'sell' you mean 'paperless transfer among properly related family members', then the direct up-down relationships apply.

But you can go sell a long gun, through an FFL, to any non-prohibited person.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
