Question on interfamilial transfer

My father passed away a couple of years ago and my mom doesn't want to store his firearms anymore. For all intents and purposes they are mine but are stored in Washington. I am wanting to bring them down here to San Diego. The problem is there are about 15 handguns in the lot, a few not being on the California allowed list. Should I do a interfamilial transfer form for all the handguns on one form? Will Cal DOJ raise their eyebrows at such a large influx?

Second Question: I just got my C &R, since I have owned the C&R handguns since my father died (prior to my C&R) do I put them on my A&D Report?

More precisely, what you are doing with the Operation of Law form is documenting an inheritance. That's important, because an inheritance is exempt from using an FFL, by both Federal and CA laws, while an interstate intrafamilial transfer still needs the FFL.

So yes, all the handguns, 1 form (with attachments, I'd guess), 1 $19 fee; very unlikely CA will care.

Thats what I was thinking, thanks for the confirmation. Again, about the 03 issue, should I put the C&R handguns on the form with the rest of them and not worry about it? I think I am going to leave them off the A&D books because they were mine prior to me getting the 03 FFL.
