My experience with Ten Percent Firearms...

Hi,

I just got my FFL-07 about two weeks ago. I really needed some advice and help. I called and spoke to Wes and met him at Ten Percent Firearms last Friday. I have to be honest, I did not know what to expect. I have been blown off at a lot of gun shops all over the state, or ran into that beer bellied, expert about every thing (just ask him he will brag to you about it), camouflage hat wearing guy that thinks you should feel lucky and honored to be in his presence.

So to make a long story short, I ended up spending over five hours with Wes. He patiently answered every question I had, and I had a lot!!!!! In my books he is a top notch pro in the business. I honestly learned a lot from him and look forward to doing business with him in the future.

I also believe in Karma, and I have always answered anybody who has asked me a question about firearms in a positive way. I also have encouraged as many people as possible to get involved the sport.

Once I get squared away, I look forward to working with any Gun Dealers, Gunsmiths, and shooters. Especially with people on Cal Guns, so if there is anything I can do to help any of you out there, just let me know. I am located in Bakersfield, and my background is in Military and Law Enforcement weapons 25+ years.

I agree with you about working together, that includes Gunsmiths also. I know you can't make every customer happy. But the ones that do walk away with a positive experience is another person on our side of the gun rights fight here in California.

It's time for the Billy Bob's at the gun shops, gun shows, and shooting ranges, that treat customers like dirt to go the way of the dinosaurs!!!!

Every time a new FFL asks a question on Calguns is the way you can help. The only reason so many of us on here are as knowledgeable and wise as we are is because people ask questions and then we research and answer them.

Every time I go back and re-read the penal code looking for answers, it makes me smarter. I couldn't do that if everyone knew everything.

So new FFLs if you want to keep helping us all, keep asking questions. They help us all learn and be smarter and safer for it.
