Middleman FFL needed for out of state auction

I have seen mention of FFLs from outside of the PRK that are willing to receive a firearm from an out of state dealer who refuses to deal with California. I tried searching for "middleman FFL" and nothing useful comes up, can someone help me find some help?

Here's the situation:

I am an 03 FFL and live in California. I found an estate auction in Illinois that was selling a Finnish Mosin Nagant that I wanted to buy. The auction listing said they will not honor any 03FFLs so I called my favorite local FFL (Tracy Rifle and Pistol) and had them send over their FFL info. It will cost me an extra $65 but it's worth it because I got a good deal on the rifle.

So today I talk to the auction house and he tells me their local FFL in Illinois refuses to ship any firearms to California because of the CFLC program. I am going to try to discuss it with the IL FFL and inform them that 03 FFLs are exempt from the CFLC program, but if that doesn't work, I need to find an FFL in another state that can receive the rifle and then ship it to me. Anyone have someone they can recommend?

Nothing boils my blood more than a LAZY F-ING FFL that helps the anti azzholes keep "evil firearms" out of CA. That exact attitude results in 25% of my annual sales. I don't complain about it.

Tell the FFL that they are doing EXACTLY what the anti-gun people want them to do. That can often get them to turn around.

UPDATE

I contacted Tom at Quentin Laser and they got in touch with the &*$% FFL in Illinois and had her ship the rifle to them. They called me up when they were boxing it up to send it to me and informed me that the stock was cracked at the wrist. Unfortunately they had already thrown the box away so there was no way I could file a claim against the FFL in Illinois. Oh well. Other than that tiny issue, the whole experience with Quentin Laser was absolutely painless. I was able to repair the stock and it looks great, so it's all turned out fine and I have a great resource now for these times when I can't get some jerk to ship directly to me.

I would urge anyone who is in the same situation that I was to use Quentin Laser as their middleman FFL, they are really great to work with.

It actually takes 10 seconds if one is already registered with the website. Otherwise, your post is my thoughts exactly.
