    How?

I few years ago my best friend since we were kids was living at my house. He moved out but left 2 guns in my safe. He is now living out of state and I told him that we need to met up over the summer so I can give him back his rifle and pistol. He told me that I could have both, how do I transfer them with him living out of state now?

I believe the pistol will need to be self-registered - The rifle isn't really a big deal -

Jack will chime in here quickly -

Technically you need to do a private party transfer. Since he no longer lives here, that isn't possible. Although not entirely legal, self registering them would probably work out the easiest and the DOJ will be happy because they will back ground check you.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.
