Help! Need a new FFL for out of state

I know this post probably appears every day but I need help receiving a pair of single action pistol receivers shipped direct from the seller.

I thought my club FFL would be able to do this, but surprisingly he is insisting in ffl to ffl transfer. Which will tack on at least another $100.00 to the price tag. This is a personal sale not an internet deal.

On another note I'm kinda pissed. I pay a good chunk of change to get into the club and I feel like I can't make a stink because I am a probationary member for now. One of the reasons I thought the club would be a good deal was for the use of the FFL.

I'm in the Bay area and stuck with a pair of pistols that I'm hoping to get sent direct without loosing my shirt. Any good low fee FFLs I should call to help me out?

    Try Roger's Relics.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

It's not a PPT. $100 ain't bad for two handguns, especially if he is going to hang onto one of them for an extra 30days. Additionally, if it's just receivers, you may find he isn't able to transfer them to you since they wouldn't be covered under single action revolver exemption.

Crap, the $100 is the extra shipping from FFL to FFL I would still need to pay another 70 for DROS. When I say receiver I mean that the cylinder has been removed. I sure hope that means they qualify since the hammer and trigger will still be installed. The cylinders were removed so that UPS will ship them.

The cylinders don't need to be removed for UPS. Where/how did that come up???

You should be able to find a FFL who will receive it direct, even if you have to drive a bit. $100 extra is quite a bit of fuel, even with the current high prices.

LISA AT ROGER'S RELICS IS AMAZING!!! I am going to use them for everything. Imbert and Smithers said they would only do FFL to FFL as well. I swear if CA is ever going to get their head out of their @$$ they need more FFLs like Rogers Relics.

Roger's Relics welcomed the business with open arms and courteous conversation....I can hardly believe I was speaking with an actual licensed dealer. That was way to pleasant. This whole snafu is going to cost me an extra $150 but I'll still be under budget doing business with someone who knows their S H I T .

Those are the guys that took almost 3 months to get me check from a scope that was damaged in shipping.

                Which guys?

Who was the money coming from? The delay might not have been their fault. I am not sure of who shipped it or how it was ordered, those things can be important. The shipper could be at fault or the shipping company.

The shop who's name is in big red letters.

I had several conversations with UPS where they told me UPS could go no futher until paperwork was filed by the shipper (Imbert and Smithers). I was buying the rifle off another CalGunner in NorCal and having it shipped to SoCal. The issue started in December and I received my check in March (just 13 days after UPS sent me an email saying all the paperwork had been received and the claim was settled).

Regardless, I'm done jacking the OP's post.
