    Drivers License Address

Hey guys. I need your opinion on something. I just got my new drivers license in the mail and noticed something... They got my zip code wrong. Instead of 92054 they put 92084. Is a FFL going to accept this as a valid form of address verification? Or should I waste my time at the DMV and pay another fee to have my address corrected and say I lost my license so they can send me a new one? Thanks for your help guys.

IMO I would contact your DMV and ask for a replacement. I highly doubt they will charge you for a new one. If you get someone real nit picky they may want to research your original application to see if it was your error. I doubt it though.

With respect to the FFL it's anyone's guess, they may overlook it by way of not checking the zip code. However, my FFL makes sure EVERYTHING is correct down to the zip so it would NOT fly with him but another in town doesn't seem to mind my PO BOX on my driver's license.

    Just my experience.

In theory we shouldn't accept it, but you could simply get a DMV printout or use your vehicle registration and then that would be fine. I would go fix it if I were you.
