building a rifle ?

i was thinking about buildng a ak rifle in the near future as my first build and was wondering do i have to register the rifle after i am done building it or anything? all 922 compliant parts. dont want to get harrased by rangers or police officers.. or do i just go out and about not having to do anything?

You can build the rifle on a non-serialized flat and not register it. It is a home built gun, registration not required. Or, as mentioned above, you can buy a pre-bent receiver with manufacturer information and build it, but it will have to be through a dealer. Either way, it still has to be legal in configuration and function, and 922r compliant.
