    KEL-TEC SU-16CA Legal?

Is the Kel-Tec SU-16CA Legal in California? According to the AW guide in my opinion it is.

Long story short. I have a customer who was visited by PD. They asked if he had any weapons in his home. He said "yes, in the safe." When asked to open it he refused and PD took the safe. Amongst all his weapons he owns 2 AR's and this kel-tec. First they tried to say that the AR's were illegal. They are cal legal with the bullet buttons. Now they are trying to pin the Kel-Tec on him saying it's illegal. From what i know it's not. I just want to make sure.

Oh, by the way. He didn't give PD permission or the combination of the safe to open it, they had no warrant to take it. They took it and they opened it. Would that be illegal search and seizure?

The Kel-Tec SU-16CA in stock configuration is actually the designated Californa model.
You can get a SU-16A and be also SU-16B also but not the SU-16C do to it being able to fire with it's folding stock folded.
The SU-16CA is a SU-16C model with a SU-16A stock to make it Californa legal.

This customer needs to contact the Calguns Foundation immediately.

www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.
