    Ruger Serial Numbers & BATF

    FYI, I recently received email regarding the serial numbers of Ruger firearms which state that the "-" is officially part of the serial number. This is quite interesting since the CA DROS form won't allow you to enter in a "-".

    Attached is a letter that was sent out by Ruger.
